SMART-TD stands in solidarity with Longshoremen as they prepare to strike

Action may close port terminals from Maine to Houston as longshoremen demand their fair share of profits, quality of life and protection from automation. The strike could halt half of the goods that enter or exit the US. While we can’t join them, we can support their action. Stay safe and show our solidarity because we are fighting the same fight.

On Sept. 23, 2024, the International Association of Sheet Metal, Air, Rail, and Transportation Workers, Transportation Division (SMART-TD), the American Train Dispatchers Association (ATDA) and Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Trainmen (BLET) jointly endorsed Sherrod Brown for U.S. Senate.
