lacmta-logo The Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (LACMTA) increased security after having received a bomb threat Monday, Dec. 5.
The threat warned of a possible attack at the Red Line subway’s Universal Station in Studio City, Calif.
LACMTA is working with the FBI and police to investigate this threat.

The Washington Post reported that Metro’s top officials warned that its transit system is in such need of repair that entire rail lines might have to be shut down for maintenance, for as long as six months.
