In response, SMART issued the following statement:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe confirmation of Jessica Looman as the Department of Labor\u2019s Administrator of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dol.gov\/agencies\/whd\">Wage and Hour Division<\/a> is a win for SMART members, our families and working people across this country. Looman has advocated for workers in our industries throughout her career, whether as executive director of the Minnesota State Building and Construction Trades Council, or in various positions for Minnesota\u2019s Departments of Labor and Commerce.
