Rick Pauli hired on with Amtrak in January 1993 as a passenger conductor.
He became local chairman of Local 816 in Harrisburg, Pa., in 2009 and was elected General Committee secretary in 2013, vice general chairman in November 2018 and was elected to the position of General Chairman of GO-769 (Amtrak) on February 27, 2019.
Paul was elected by acclamation as the commuter representative to the SMART-TD Board of Appeals at the Second SMART Transportation Division Convention in Las Vegas in August 2019.
