Samara Sampson has been an active member with local 285 Toronto since 2016. Working on-site in the building trades, she became inspired by her love for the job and quickly became vocal about her visions of equity and inclusivity.
She sits on the leadership committee for the OBCT (Ontario Building & Construction Tradeswomen) working towards recruiting, educating, supporting and retaining tradeswomen throughout the province. Goal-oriented, paralleled by her desire to inspire other women, she is thrilled to have the privilege of serving on the SMART International Women’s Committee.
