Jayden won 1st place in the 2nd year and Ben won 1st place in 3rd year! Jayden is the first female to win 1st place in Region 3 history! Jayden, Ben, and Chris all did fantastic! Chris came in 3rd in the Screw Off competition and Jayden was 2nd.

Orientation is complete. The apprentices were addressed by General President Michael Coleman. The competition will start tomorrow morning bright and early.

Brother James M. Weaver received his 50yr. service award on 3-14-25. Pictured with Brother Weaver is his son James G. Weaver, retired member of Local 48. Brother Weaver’s grandson Jonathan Atchison, Business Agent of Local 48. And Brother Weaver’s great grandson James C. Weaver 1st year apprentice of Local 48.
Our 2nd, 3rd and 4th Year winners of the Local competition will be competiting in Atlanta the week of March 17th.
